An Electrician EJ License is required in the state of Hawaii. This requires on the job experience of 5 years (working full time) or approximately 2,000 hours per year, for a total of at least 10,000 hours. Individuals must provide sufficient proof of their on the job training. The majority of OJT hours/years must be in commercial and residential wiring.
