If you engage in plumbing doing work amounting to more than $10,000 you must hold a valid plumber’s license in the state of Mississippi. Commercial plumbing projects over $50,000 require a license.
In addition to passing the plumbing trade exam, applicants are required to pass the Business and Law Management exam.
State-level plumbing licenses in Mississippi are for projects where the financial level is equal to or greater than $50,000 for public projects and $100,000 for private projects.
